GLS’87, a group of friends who passed out school from Mahendra Kanhaiyalal Higher Secondary School, a institute of Gujarat Law Society, Ahmedabad is a unique alumni association.

GLS’87 is an alumni association which comprises of old students who have passed out from MKHSS, GLS, Ahmedabad. It is a phenomenon; a strong knit, dedicated family of apprx 300 friends of the 1987 batch.

The seeds of this association were sown in 2010 when Rikin Shah and Monisha felt a strong desire to trace their batchmates and form a platform to interact. Subsequently, few more friends joined the mission. Everyone has a strong urge to trace and contact their old buddies. It is so natural because we spent the best period of our life altogether during school days, sharing pleasures and excitement of friendship.

It is really a Herculean task to find out the whereabouts of apprx 300 batchmates many of whom had migrated to other parts of the world. We wish to publish the first directory of batchmates as soon as possible.

The most significant initiative for bonding the relationship was taken in 2010 when the association organized their first get together at Rajvadu, Ahmedabad which was attended by around 65 friends. The excitement and thrill of meeting old friends after a gap of 23 years was so great that we have decided to make the get together a regular affair.
